Is it better to use a USB if I'm going to be using my main steam account on the same computer? Also do I need windows patch guard V4?

It is up to you, it won't affect your main account and yes, you can play on the same PC. No, that is not needed.

If I have the .exe on my desktop but not injected is it possible for VAC to detect it if Aimware was to become detected again?
