COD Detection History?

Considering getting COD WW2, but I don't know the history of how often the cheat gets detected. Is it similar to VAC in that once it's detected nearly all players get banned or is it like they just review case by case and ban that way? If the former, how many times did COD infinite warfare get detected and what we're the dates which it did.
