If I buy this and cheat on an alt on a different HDD, will it ban my main on the primary HDD in the same computer?

No, a VAC ban is specific to the account. It is not an IP ban, you just wont be able to play CS:GO on that one account.

Are you positive? I heard that VAC implemented a new detection system a while back. Just want to be sure.

Yeah i'm sure, if you play legit on your main account it should be safe if your alt account got VAC banned.

My main is untouched and i havn't been using different places for the accs the last 3 months.

Just make sure family sharing is turned off and you will be fine.

VAC detects that and bans you for a second boot drive
