I am guessing at least one person using Aimware has been banned by Overwatch, what happens when you get banned? Do you get a VAC? Is it permanent or is it just like a month?

An overwatch ban is a ban by your peers, and is different than a vac ban.
If you use the cheat in a liberal fashion, and go very blatant, players will report you for hacking. If enough people think you're cheating when they review the overwatch demo, you get the overwatch ban.
This shows as a game ban on your steam profile.
A VAC ban is when valve detects the usage of a cheat on your computer, and bans you for cheating.
This shows as a vac ban on your steam profile.
Both are permanent.
We have threads and guides in the VIP section detailing how to avoid bans.
