I would like to buy aimware but I don't feel comfortable turning off my antivirus.

Yes, you just need to add your loader to "Exclusions".

i have kaspersky and i got no issues with it while running aw, so yeah you can definitely do that without turning off AV.

Depends still on what AV you use
