will my main get banned?

So say I get on my alt account, on the same computer I use for my main. These accounts are not connected by email or anything like that. Say I start cheating, and I get vac banned on my alt. Will my main get banned too? Do I have to scrub my files or something every time I switch accounts? If so, how would I do this?
